Th...I totally agree with you about the cone trees. They come through on the xmas tree smell bit, but that's about it. This is the kind we always got as kids until we realized our much more stylish neighbors got the nobles and then we started lobbying for those. <br /><br />Nobles are just better, what can I say.<br /><br />One year pop got a blue spruce and cursed us all for picking it out (they're extremely prickly, and guess who got to dig it up? And then force it to stand up? And guy-wire it to the wall when that didn't work? It was one of our live trees and is now out back of my folks' place and a bajillion feet tall and quail like to snuggle together beneath it during snowstorms and make tracks to the bird feeder shrapnel, so at least the suffering can always be remembered).<br /><br />The only thing we all seem to agree upon is that the tree should be gigantic, bigger than any of us.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
